HalfDayCamp findet im Rahmen von WKO IT & Beratertag 2010 statt, da wir nur einen Raum für einen halben Tag haben der Name “halfdaycamp”;)

Bei diesem Barcamp geht es primär um

• Social Media
• und welche Werte durch Social Media entstehen.

Wir wünschen uns durch dieses Barcamp, die zwei Welten IT & UnternehmensberaterInnen mit StudentInnen und BarcamperInnen zu vernetzen.

Barcamps sind aus dem Bedürfnis heraus entstanden, dass sich Menschen in einer offenen Umgebung austauschen und voneinander lernen können. Es ist eine intensive Veranstaltung mit Diskussionen, Präsentationen, und Interaktion der Teilnehmer untereinander. Da Agenda und Speaker erst am Veranstaltungstag festgelegt werden, werden Barcamps auch Unkonferenz genannt. (Was ist ein Barcamp)

Jeder, der etwas beizutragen hat oder etwas lernen will, ist willkommen und herzlich eingeladen mitzumachen.

• Für den Fall, dass du mitmachst, stell dich darauf ein, dich mit anderen Barcampern auszutauschen.

Although robots have a lot of different applications, only in very few cases they are involved in interaction with an end-user. Progresses in the development of service-robots in the service of households during the century have been very promising.

While robots will assemble a car in the blink of an eye with no problem, by end of the first decade of the 21st century there is still very little effort made on introducing robotics to the environment of a cocktail-bar.
Individual solutions brought forward by original gastronomers and artists dominate the scene next to student-projects.

Until 1999 no attempts were made to create a competition of developing technologies or to introduce cocktail-robotic as an index for the integration of technological achievements in everyday life, and as a means of documenting the creation of new interfaces for man-machine-interaction, a priori dedicated to hedonism!

That void has been occupied for more than five years now by the ROBOEXOTICA, around which a pool of creative people has assembled, who are now responsible for new ideas on the topic year after year. The ROBOEXOTICA tries to establish worldwide contacts with developers of cocktail-robotics and to function as an international platform for anybody interested in the topic.

About the topic: The issue is of existential importance for every innovative STARTup: Without the right team of people, the best business idea will not work. Excellent, entrepreneurial thinking team workers are essential. Moreover, a start up team needs not only great people, but also the right combination of strengths and qualification.

Start ups can attract co-entrepreneurs and employees with a high extent of individual responsibility, freedom of scope as well as opportunities for personal and career development. On the other hand, start ups also have considerable disadvantages in the ‘war for talent’: New businesses can usually not yet offer a prestigious brand, well-balanced work times, high work place security and salaries. Entrepreneurs therefore have to face the urgent questions:

• What is the foundation of a top-performing start up team?
• According to what criteria should a start up team be assembled?
• How can especially talented graduates and young professionals be recruited for a start up business?
• What are the essentials of team development and human resource management in a start up business?
