Do online rating systems inspire people to behave better online? This presentation will focus on how digital technology can motivate and influence people. It will discuss how computers can be designed to change attitudes and behaviors in positive ways. It will show how this technology is inspired by psychological theories. It will also highlight the related ethical issues.
