What does ACTA mean, what’s the history and how it will affect the internet as we know and use it today. This is an interesting story about the fight for the control of the tubez. The confusing term intellectual property is being exploited to profit a few companies while also negatively impacting access to medicines in 3rd world countries. There’s lots of ACTA related activities going on in the european community, which you might be interested to hear about.
Speaker: Speaking of communities, stef is one of the more vocal member of the Hungarian Autonomous Center for Knowledge (H.A.C.K.) a hackerspace in Budapest. A short intro of our hacks should be a nice prelude to the upcoming party on the 28th @H.A.C.K. and later @Stadtflucht3.
